Managing Editor and Senior Writer Alexis Boucher is a transplant from the Northeast, who worships in the churches of hockey and baseball. She has followed the Lightning since the late 90's and the team was one of the driving forces in her relocation to Tampa in 2008. A graduate of the Florida State University Creative Writing program, she has been blogging for over three years. Some of her other projects included Base Hits & Body Checks and Sons of Andreychuk. She has a penchant for loud music, enforcers, and good beer.

Lead Writer Benjamin Woodward is a native Bostonian and lifelong hockey fanatic. After three years of covering the Boston Bruins for various media outlets, including Hockey Independent, SB Nation and the New England Hockey Journal, Benjamin has chosen to tackle a new challenge here in Tampa Bay. He enjoys golfing and football and is a die-hard University of Michigan supporter.

Erik Erlendsson is an award winning journalist who has covered the Tampa Bay Lightning since 2000, serving as the main beat writer with the The Tampa Tribune from 2001-2016 when the paper folded. Though a native of Massachusetts (we won't hold that against him), Erlendsson grew up in the Tampa area and graduated from Armwood High School. After earning a journalism degree from the University of South Florida, he joined the Tribune in 1997. Erlendsson resides in Tampa with his wife, Judy, and four children.

Writer David Benmocha attended South Kent Prep School and graduated from Manhattanville College, where he played hockey. He currently is involved with the Tampa Elite Hockey Club and takes classes at John Hopkins University of Public Health. He is interested in sports history and predictive analytics. His goal is to be the General Manager of a sports franchise.
Christine is a native New Yorker who spent her childhood rooting for the New York Rangers before transplanting to Florida in 2000. She became a Lightning fan in 2004 during the Stanley Cup run and hasn't looked back since. After 5+ years photographing music acts such as Metallica, Blink-182 and Roger Waters, she turned her camera to the ice and started photographing hockey.
Tarra DunlopPhotographer/Graphic Artist
Contributor Tarra Dunlop is a photographer who has a love of hockey and specifically Tampa Bay Lightning hockey. Born in Detroit and raised across the border in Canada, she became a Lightning fan in 2004 when she and her family moved to the Tampa area. Besides photographing hockey, a few of her other favorite subjects to photograph are theme parks in the central Florida area as well as nature.
